Free Aspen/Snowmass Transportation

Local RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority) buses between Snowmass Village and Aspen are free. This convenient service allows riders to enjoy an evening in Aspen with no worries about driving home after indulging in their favorite beverages--how sweet is that!?
RFTA buses depart Snowmass from the RFTA Transit Station at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall (just a flight of steps away from the wildwood). The Transit Station is also easy to reach from the Snowmass Village Shuttle Transit Station, and the free Village shuttles cover the entire Village.
In Aspen, RFTA buses depart for Snowmass from the Rubey Park Bus Depot and from several stops throughout town. Aspen also operates a free local shuttle service that is centered from the Rubey Park Bus Depot, giving easy access throughout town.
